AUSTIN, TX, March 25, 2026 – Manchester University has launched a comprehensive initiative to assess its readiness for artificial intelligence in partnership with Dynamic Campus, funded through a planning grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc.

This month-long engagement will assess the institution’s current capabilities and readiness to responsibly and effectively leverage artificial intelligence across academic and administrative functions. As institutions look to move beyond early experimentation, this work provides a structured, institution-wide approach grounded in strategy, governance and data.

Assessing Current State and AI Readiness

Led by Dynamic Campus, the initiative will begin with structured discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews across key functional areas, such as enrollment, student success, advising, finance and human resources. In parallel, the team will review institutional strategy, governance, data and operational processes. Findings will be synthesized to develop a holistic view of current operations and opportunities.

Building a Foundation for Scalable AI

The outcomes of this initiative will provide Manchester University with a clear foundation for advancing AI, including a roadmap to guide future implementation.

Insights from the assessment will also support the institution’s application for additional grant funding to enable AI solutions at scale across campus.
