Dynamic Campus, the nation’s largest vendor-agnostic provider of technology outsourcing support and managed services for higher education institutions, announced that La Sierra University—an approximately 2,200 student Seventh-day Adventist institution of undergraduate and graduate studies in Riverside, Calif.—has chosen Dynamic Campus to serve as the institution’s strategic technology partner.
Under the terms of the partnership, La Sierra’s IT staff will be supported and augmented by Dynamic Campus’s deep bench of dedicated higher education IT experts across the U.S., providing La Sierra with the same IT strength, scalability and capability as a large public institution without compromising La Sierra’s values or commitment to creating and fostering an educational environment where all members of its community can thrive.
“The arrival of the coronavirus this year has underscored how critical technology has become to higher education, as it has to so many facets of modern society,” said Joy Fehr, La Sierra’s president.
“Partnering with Dynamic Campus is one of many well-considered steps we’re taking to ensure all of our students, faculty and staff have the tools, technologies and support we need to be as successful as possible this academic year, whether we are on campus, online, learning remotely, or some combination of the three.”
As part of the partnership, La Sierra will be able to tap into Dynamic Campus’s Shared Services team to quickly scale up their IT support resources as the need arises, then scale back just as quickly when they’re no longer needed.
La Sierra will also be able to take advantage of Dynamic Campus’s specific technical expertise in fields such as remote learning, cybersecurity, infrastructure, financial aid, data management and more, ensuring La Sierra has the exact IT skills and expertise needed at that moment.
“Coronavirus has created unprecedented strain on higher education this academic year and potentially beyond, making it impossible for leaders to prepare for all the potential scenarios that may unfold,” said Mike Glubke, president of Dynamic Campus.
“One thing is certain: institutions must be more nimble, agile and responsive this year than ever before. By partnering with Dynamic Campus, La Sierra University can rest easy knowing they’ll have the exact technology support, skill and scale they’ll need this year for a fixed price, no matter what the future may hold.”
